Are you passionate about making a real impact on the life chances of young people?

Northern Education Trust was established in 2012 as a not-for-profit- education charity. The Trust sponsors 20 academies ? 10 primary and 10 secondary ? covering a large geographical area across the northern region from Blyth to Barnsley.

The Trust?s academies are located in diverse communities, some of them serving some of the most deprived communities in England. Whatever the area, the Trust believes that with high quality teaching, the right help, and high expectations even the most vulnerable children can transform their lives and fulfil their potential. You will demonstrate significant experience in strategically leading and delivering successful outcomes against ambitious goals. You will have strong interpersonal skills and the confidence to build relationships across a complex stakeholder map and encourage collaborative and transparent working relationships. You will be flexible and able to adapt to change, as well as comfortable in what will be a consistently high performance environment. Demonstrable commercial acumen will be important, as will an affinity with the values and aims of the Trust, and the gravitas, communication and ambassadorial skills to represent the Trust at the highest level.
