Northern Education Trust is a DFE approved charity that sponsors academies to ensure that every pupil and student achieves the highest possible levels of attainment and achievement regardless of background. The Trust sponsors 20 academies; 10 secondary and 10 primaries across the North of England in ten Local authority regions.

This is a new post to provide administrative support to the governance function of the Trust. The ideal candidate will have some knowledge of governance arrangements in education and the ability to communicate effectively with senior leaders and governors. We are looking for an individual with a flexible approach as the post will develop over time so you should be open to CPD opportunities in order to maximise your understanding of the statutory governance regulations and requirements in the academy sector.

There will be some requirement to travel to academies across the Trust.
